The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC), a state-owned entity under the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), Government of Pakistan, is inviting applications for its Management Trainee Programme. This initiative aims to provide young professionals with hands-on experience in various departments. The positions are based at PMDC’s headquarters in Sector H-9, Islamabad.

Available Positions

PMDC is offering the following roles under its Management Trainee Programme:

1. Management Trainee (Mining) – 5 positions
   • Qualification: BE/BS in Mining Engineering (recognized by Pakistan Engineering
2. Management Trainee (Geology) – 5 positions
   • Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Geology
3. Management Trainee (HR) – 2 positions
   • Qualification: MBA/Master’s in HR
4. Management Trainee (Finance/Accounts) – 3 positions
   • Qualification: ACCA/ACMA/CIMA

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Minimum 16 years of education in the relevant field from a recognized institution.
• Age Limit: Maximum age of 28 years as of the date of advertisement.
• CGPA: Minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Graduation Year: Candidates who have graduated in 2023 or 2024, with or without post-qualification experience, are eligible to apply

Selection Process

The selection for the Management Trainee Programme will be based on the following criteria:

• Written Test: 40% weightage
• Interview: 30% weightage
• Academic Performance: 30% weightage

No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview.

Stipend and Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of PKR 80,000. Please note that this is a contractual training position and does not establish an employer-employee relationship. There is no obligation on PMDC to offer regular employment upon completion of the training period
